Confidentiality is respected, but constructive feedback is shared with home and school to support behaviour management.
Space to Shine is a social and emotional intervention created by the Altus Outreach team for children who are struggling with their SEMH needs in their mainstream setting. It is an offsite project designed around their individual SDQ Profile targets and includes themes around the following areas:
- Me, myself and I—self esteem and identity
- Socialisation and co-operation—working together
- Choices— dealing with change, transition and developing resilience
- Feelings-identify different feelings
- Friendships/ bullying
- Bespoke to the pupils on the programme
Space 2 Shine is a 5 week programme of support. Course content is delivered 9.15AM— 1.45PM one day per week for its duration in our Primary Centre.
